Powering Homes. Strengthening Community.

At Cal-Solar, we believe clean energy should do more than power homes. It should help build a stronger, more connected community.

As a Certified B Corp and an employee owned cooperative, we are guided by the belief that business should be a force for good. Every solar panel installation, battery storage, ev charger, home standby generator, referral, and every partnership is an opportunity to give back to the communities that support us.

Building a Brighter
Community Together

We are committed to supporting local nonprofits that protect our environment, strengthen families, and improve quality of life across our region. By working together, we can create a meaningful and lasting impact right here at home.

We encourage you to explore these organizations, support their missions, and participate in their events whenever possible.

Together, we can help create a healthier, more resilient future for our community.

Why This Program Matters

Every referral and every solar panel installation helps fund organizations focused on:

  • Sustainable agriculture and local food systems

  • Environmental conservation and river protection

  • Land preservation and access to public trails and community spaces

  • Youth mentorship, education, and development

  • Food security and housing support for families in need

  • Arts, culture, and community enrichment programs

  • Services that support seniors, individuals with disabilities, and vulnerable populations

This is more than energy. It is community investment in action.

How It Works

Sharing Cal-Solar is simple and impactful

YOU EARN

Earn a $250 referral reward when someone you refer completes a solar panel installation and/or installs backup batteries.

WE DONATE

For every completed installation, we donate $150 to a local nonprofit, selected twice a year by our board

Each referral creates a ripple effect of positive change, benefiting homeowners, rewarding you, and supporting local organizations.

There is no limit to how many referrals you can make
